English is my third language. Once I mastered common English words, I found that learning Greek and Latin roots helped me tremendously in enriching and expanding my vocabulary.

Learning a language with a completely different alphabet as opposed to Latin and Cyrillic is a fun challenge to master.

My native language

Gabriel Garcia Marquez is one of my favorite writers. Having read his novels in English and Russian, I was inspired to learn Spanish and reread the novels in their original language.
